Work Experience Roland O. Campbell, Jr. is the
President and C.E.O. of ROC Incorporated. In this position he is
responsible for strategic planning, managing daily operation,
project coordination and business development for ROC Real
Estate Advisors. Roland formed ROC Incorporated in 1989 and has
been a licensed real estate professional since 1982. He has
provided real estate services to a number of major clients
including: The Federal Home Loan Bank/ Freddie Mac, The Bon
Secours Baltimore Health System, McDonald's Corporation, Coppin State University,
The State of Maryland's Department of General Services, and the
University of Maryland Medical System Corporation.
He has managed several successful mixed-use development
projects, which required creative financing. Funding sources
often used included, tax credits, block grants, Federal and
State funding sources. Roland's other responsibilities with
these projects included coordinating and managing the activities
of sub-contractors to project completion.
Roland has been very active in a number of professional and
civic organizations. He serves or has served on the Board of
Directors for organizations including: The Baltimore City
Chamber of Commerce, The Home Builders Association of Maryland,
The Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, Baltimore County
Workforce Development Council, The Pikesville Chamber of
Commerce, The Bon Secours Baltimore Health System, The Bon
Secours Foundation, Uniting For Life, Inc., The Greater
Baltimore Committee's Leadership Program (class of "92") and he
Chairs The Leadership's Minority Out-Reach Committee. He also
serves on the GBC's Bridging the Gap advisory committee. He is
also a graduate of the Leadership Maryland Program for 2005.
He has received numerous awards including: The Governors
Citation in recognition of his efforts to provide equal
opportunity in economic development for people of all races in
the State of Maryland; the Monumental Bar Association's
Certificate of Achievement in Economic Development Award and an
Award of Appreciation from the Social Security Administration's
Black Affairs Advisory Council.
ROC Incorporated has been certified as a MBE Company by The
City of Baltimore, The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)
and it is certified 8(a) SDB by the Small Business
Administrations under Roland's leadership.
He is a Graduate of the Realtor's Institute (GRI) and he has
earned a certificate from the Allan Berman Real Estate Institute
of Johns Hopkins University. He is a Certified Commercial
Investment Member (CCIM) candidate.
